The Seniors are having a movie day afterschool today. The movies that will be shown are: Ouija, Set It Up, Violet Evergreen, Gran Turismo, and You've Got This. Participating students have to pay $5.00 for movie tickets, popcorn, and drinks. Proceeds goes to Senior Funds. Students have to be present in school in order to participate.
The Soccer Colors Tournament will be cancelled today and will be rescheduled for tomorrow. The Colors Tournament schedule will be as follows:
Friday, May 17th - Soccer Colors Tournament; Basketball Colors Tournament that is scheduled for this day will be rescheduled for June 3rd.
Monday, May 20th - Make up day for Volleyball Colors Tournament that was cancelled yesterday, May 15.
Tomorrow, May 15th, will be Day 2 of NYSESLAT Testing. Classes will start at 8:00AM with Period 5. Testing will be from 9:22AM to 12:05PM. Please see the schedule in the attached photo.

Today at 5pm is the New Family Orientation in room 103. Then, the Parent Association Assembly will also take place in room 103 and will start at 6PM .
Tomorrow, Tuesday May 14th, is NYSESLAT Testing Day 1. Students are scheduled to take the NYSESLAT from 9:22AM to 1:27PM. Classes will start at 8:00AM.
On Wednesday, May 15th, will be Day 2 of NYSESLAT Testing. Classes will start at 8:00AM with Period 5. Testing will be from 9:22AM to 12:05PM.
The Colors Tournament will start at 3:00PM to 5:00PM for both days. STUDENTS HAVE TO ATTEND CLASSES IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE AND SPECTATE IN THE COLORS TOURNAMENT.
The GLHS Orchestra is performing today at the Alianza Dominicana Cultural Center at 4PM. The Alianza Dominicana Cultural Center is located at 530 W 166th St Ste 6, New York, NY 10032 . Mr. Adan Vasquez, GLHS Music Teacher is conducting.

May 6th, Monday, is a short day! Students will be dismissed at 1:30PM. Only students participating in the FYI Volleyball Program may stay from 1:30PM-3:00PM.
