Tomorrow, September 5th is the first day of school! All students are expected to come at 8:00AM for the Homeroom period. Students will receive their schedules, blue cards, OMNY/Metrocards, and other important documents during Homeroom Period. First period starts at 9AM and all classes will be shortened period until tenth period which ends at 2:50PM. Welcome back, Generals!

Students are invited to join the NYPD Harmony Day tomorrow at the Central Park Bandshell from 9AM to 2PM. Students can get permission slips at Luperon and must submit it tomorrow before participating. Summer School is still in session especially for students who does not want to go to the trip. For more information, please call the school at 212-928-1202 from 8AM to 2PM. Again, Summer School is still in session.


Tomorrow is the first day of Summer School! Classes starts at 8:00AM and the last class ends at 2:00PM. Summer School runs from July 10th to August 15th, Monday to Thursday. FYI will also be hosting Summer Sports Programs and Trips every Friday. The August Regents will be on August 19th and 20th. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!



Tomorrow (June 26th) is the last day of school. Students can come to school between 8AM to 12PM to pick up report cards (no need to wear uniforms). Recent graduates, Cohort 2024/Seniors, will have the T-shirt signing party from 12:00Noon to 2:00PM. Congratulations to all Generals for another successful school year!


Regents week will resume today, June 18th, with the US History in the morning at 9:15AM, and Global History Regents in the afternoon at 1:15PM.

The school will be closed tomorrow June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth. Regents week will resume tomorrow, June 20th, with the Earth Science Regents in the morning at 9:15AM, and Chemistry Regents in the afternoon at 1:15PM.

The ELA Regents will start tomorrow, June 14th, at 9:15AM. The Living Environment Regents tomorrow will start at 1:15PM. Please come prepared and come on time. Good luck!


Join Gregorio Luperon High School and FYI in celebrating the end of the school year by joining the Pride and Juneteenth March - March for Respect and Equality. The march will take place at 3:50PM during dismissal time. We will meet and start in front of the building.

As part of the Pride and Juneteenth Celebration, the GLHS Gender and Racial Equity Through Film Club and FYI are sponsoring a free Movie Review starting at 4:00PM today in Rooms 205 and 207. The event is free, and participants get free food and drinks. The movies that will be shown are "The Hate U Give" and "Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe".

There will be an Open House today, June 11th, at 5PM in Room 103 for incoming GLHS students and families for the next school year.
Then the Parent Association Monthly Assembly will start at 6:00PM in Room 103.

The Basketball Colors Tournament Championship is happening today at 4:00PM in the gym. The championship match is going to be between Sophomores Team A and Seniors Team B. Students have to be present in school and attend classes in order to participate.
