The GLHS community celebrated a successful Spring Chamber Recital on April 25, 2026, held at Gregorio Luperon High School. The recital featured talented student musicians from both the Washington Heights Community Conservatory and GLHS, showcasing a collaborative performance that highlighted dedication, artistry, and musical growth.
The event began at 2 PM and welcomed an enthusiastic audience of family members, friends, and supporters of the arts. The program included a variety of chamber works performed by an outstanding group of student musicians: Danilsa Fondeur (violin), Fernando Almonte (viola), Anyela Jose Marte (viola), Ramses Fondeur (cello), Escarlyn Ureña (cello), William Espinal (double bass), Edwarlyn Santana (double bass), Kalvin Rodriguez (harp), and Joseph Garcia (piano).
This special recital was presented in association with the New York State Council on the Arts, the Association of Dominican Classical Artists (ADCA), and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, whose continued support helps make events like this possible.
Thank you to all the student performers and supporters who made the Spring Chamber Recital a memorable and inspiring musical experience.
